Brothers Greg and Chris Motz represent the fourth generation of Motz's in the Grand Valley.
It all started in 1904, when their great-grandfather, I. O. Motz moved to Palisade from Guthrie Center, Iowa. He made the trip over the Rocky Mountains by horse and wagon, bringing his young family with him. As I.O. Motz settled in, he developed parts of Palisade and later became a banker in the community. The Motz name is still found on early land title documents in Mesa County. Subsequent generations of Motz's have left their mark on western Colorado, through land development, municipal and civil construction, commercial and residential building construction and public facilities projects. If you travel in Grand Junction, it is likely you'll travel on a street or highway or visit a building that some member of the Motz clan either designed, built, repaired, resurfaced or dedicated as a public right-of-way.
Today, Greg, Jody, and Chris, along with a skilled team of professionals, provide construction related services to clients on the Western Slope of Colorado. Their values are distinctly western Colorado, their perspective embraces past accomplishments, and their vision is of the future.
